News: Social Media Plans

I’ve been having a think about the best means for us all to communicate
should we choose to – Slack hasn’t really worked out; the pricing
structure is insanely expensive.  A few people have suggested Facebook
but I’m afraid I just can’t handle having to deal with it on a regular
basis, so I’ve decided to simply set up a Whatsapp group for
anyone who wants to participate.  Everyone uses it already, it’s very
simple – and worst case scenario, if it gets on your nerves it’s easy to
opt out or mute it for a while.  😂


Another social media app I can no longer face dealing with is Twitter /
X.  I was finding it so annoying that in the end I’ve had to delete all my
accounts; it was just too painful scrolling through all the crap to try
and find what you were looking for.  Therefore, I’ve shifted the Club’s
social media over to Instagram.  Not perfect by any means, but at least a
bit more pleasant visually to deal with. 

I’ll be adding any news / info to this page now – thescclub.

Also check here for updates on new sounds that have been added to the
club, like I used to do on Twitter.

Finally, I’ve also decided to ditch ‘The Knowledge’ which had started to
feel like a bit of a waste of time – and, like Slack, the pricing is
getting squeezed higher and higher which is making it poor value now.
